These lights are manufactured by HQUA who make high quality LED pool and spa lights, they are 10 inches in diameter that fits the vast majority of standard pool light housings. They are 36 watt output which is comparable to 300-400 watts older incandescent style filament
pool lights.
Fitting a new light, although not terribly difficult, can involve work that not every DIY person may be capable of.

This kit comes complete with a high quality fully waterproof LED light unit which has a multitude of colors that are controlled with the hand held remote.

There is a 12 volt transformer (waterproof) to convert the house voltage from 115 ac volts down to 12 Volts dc to provide power to the controls and the light. You may have an existing 12 volt transformer that is working you can use in place of the supplied transformer.

You have to attach the new cables to the existing cable in the pool electrical conduit that feeds your existing light as the old cable will only be 3 core whereas these LEDs require 5 core this sometimes is an easy task and sometimes not.

So the work involves mechanical and electrical work and you are most likely going to be working in water.

SPA LIGHTING
Our Spa lights are identical to our HQUA pool lights except that they are 6 inch diameter to fit standard 6 inch niche housings.
We supply two different variations that are both the same apart from one comes with a transformer and the other does not. Many existing pool lights have a 12 volt transformer that can be utilized for the new LED light.
